Policies and Procedures

Shipping

Shipping rates sitewide are based on US quotes. If you live outside the US your shipping may be more. You should contact us with your location and cart contents so that we can let you know if the shipping will be more.

• All items sitewide will ship USPS First Class and Priority if over 15 oz per the USPS regulations. Other arrangements can be made for Express Over Night or UPS International. First Class Mail takes 2-5 days respectively but they have been known to take a little longer. Shipping charges are valid for US and Canada Shipping only, all other countries are subject to higher rates per location and customers will be contacted after payment for shipping options.
  

• Items have individual processing times. An item's processing time is listed with in the description and or section. Your purchase of said item acknowledges your agreement to the terms of processing. The current lead time as of February 1, 2012 for items in the Ready to ship section ship out between 5-10 business days after purchase. If you will need your ready to ship item sooner you will need to contact us for Rush Options and availability will depend on item and its destination location.
  

Replacement & Return Policy

• There is an option for shipping insurance. I highly suggest insurance on any item, especially those totaling $50 or more. This will protect you from loss while your item is in transit. It does happen and I cannot replace items lost in the mail. Once your package leaves my studio it is not my responsibility anymore.

• If you receive an item and decide right away that it won't fit your child or see immediate damage you will have 24-48 hours from the time of delivery (I get delivery confirmation on almost every package) to contact The Poke A Dot Shop regarding your issue. Items returned for a refund must first be approved by The Poke A Dot Shop, situation and circumstances based and then mailed out within 24-48 hours from email correspondence unused and in perfect conditions with garment tags still in place and/or headbands on their cards.

• If I fail to purchase delivery confirmation for your package and it is in turn lost in the mail by the post, I will at that time replace your order. Please give the post up to 10 business days to deliver your item before contacting me for a possible replacement. I will not replace orders with delivery confirmation where no insurance was purchased.
  • You can find Shipping insurance listings in the Ready to Ship and Wholesale categories. Please purchase the listing that best suits your purchase. If you do not see a listing available please contact us to have one set up for your intended purchase. Insurance can aslo be added seperately with in 24 hours of original purchase, contact uc for more information.
    

Cancellation Policy

• Ready to Ship items may be cancelled by email to thepokeadotshop@yahoo.com no later then 24 hours from purchase, otherwise your order is going through or has gone through processing.

• Wholesale items are final sale. Orders are made almost daily meaning your order has been purchased and begun processing by The Poke A Dot Shop almost instantly in order to get these items to you as soon as absolutely possible! Thank you for your understanding in this instance.

Your processing time starts once payment has cleared through PayPal.

All orders during the Wholesale Event will have a flat handling fee of $4 with any purchase, each additonal item is $1 shipping for added weight.

There is a minimum purchase of $30 for all Wholesale orders effective March 1, 2012. We will monitor the purchases closely during an event and reserve the right to cancel an order not meeting these requirements. The purpose of these sales is to purchase in bulk and we hope that is your purpose too. If you are interested in one or two items but not in the $30 minimum purchase requirement we reccommend looking at our ready to ship listings or contacting us for immediate availablity in items that are ready to ship with in the shop. We do thank you for your interest in our Wholesale Event and we hope you love what you see!

When offered, the Wholesale Event is meant to offer great deals on items reguarily priced higher. We are able to do this by purchasing in bulk after an event has ended which is why this is a pre-sale sale event. Please make sure you have read and understand the procedures and terms of the wholesale event before purchasing.

Please keep in mind that this is a Wholesale Event open to the public with orders being made at pre-order status. You are able to choose what you want, color, size, everything at low prices because you are ordering before The Poke A Dot Shop obtains the items for you. The processing time is 3 to 7 weeks for all items in these listings. Although we hope and strive for 3 weeks we cannot always predict processing times with the manufacturer so to safely plan your items arrival expect up to 7 weeks before shipment. If you are looking for something immediate please look for items that are Ready to Ship with in this website or contact us through the contact link for a potential custom order. By purchasing any of the following "wholesale" items in sections marked wholesale you agree to the said Terms of Conditions and Terms of Processing and Shipping stated above.

If the item says "In Stock" it means that the product is available for purchase but still has the same Processing as above if listed in a Wholesale listing. Those purchasing from countries outside of the US and Canada are subject to increased shipping charges. You will be contacted pre-shipping if your order requires more shipping based on wieght.
